Ashlyn | 7 Days

Ashlyn was going to be my first newborn ever to have her session scheduled before she was born. She was a scheduled C-Section, but her mom and dad didn't end up being discharged from the hospital until the night before our session date, so we bumped her forward a few days to give them time to settle in, and it worked out perfectly. She is such a little sweetie pie and I had a blast photographing her. Check out her session highlights!

I had just finished making this crochet blanket and headband set the night before her session; I'm absolutely loving it!

Ashlyn's big brother Hudson did such a great job!

I love this little "A" that John and Diane brought.

Newborn Reagan

Man o man did little miss Reagan put up a fight for me during her newborn session. I have to say I've never had such a jumpy baby; every time I had her little arms and legs wrapped perfectly she would lurch and bust right out of it. Repeatedly. Over and over again. Needless to say, I did quite a bit of improvising during her session and actually ended up with some of my most favorite photos I've captured thus far. I love sessions like this one which help remind me that no matter how horribly and off plan things seem to be going, I can still  push through and come out with absolutely gorgeous images. I also need to give a shoutout to Ihor and Brittnay for being such patient parents through it all; they were such troopers, and the wait was worth it! I'm so so happy with the end results of little Reagan's session and can't wait for you to check them out!

Those little baby grins <3

These next two are my absolute favorites from her session! <3 <3 <3

Love me some squishy baby cheeks :)
