Newborn Ruby | 7 Days

Meet Ruby, my 2nd niece on my husband's side. <3 She is just as sweet as can be, and is the most adorable little chunkamunk I've ever seen! I could just squeeze this girl all day!

Ruby was born weighing in at a whopping ELEVEN pounds even, and on top of that was delivered naturally! (With an epidural, thank goodness.) My sister-in-law Randy is my hero, and she and Geoff couldn't have been blessed with a sweeter baby girl.

Check out Ruby's session highlights!

Geoff and Randy are vintage item collectors; their whole house is so beautifully furnished and decorated with the coolest pieces, and these trunks below are a couple of those items they brought to incorporate into Ruby's session. When she turns 1 year, we'll be doing another session with the same setup to see how much she has grown!

They also brought the chair below which I photographed Ruby's older brother George in when he was a newborn! If you follow me on Facebook, you can see his photo as well :) The yellow blanket was Randy's when she was a baby, and the quilt was made by Randy for Ruby's nursery. It's so sweet being able to incorporate such personal and meaningful items into my newborn sessions!

George is seriously the best. I love this little boy to pieces and he is such a great big brother to Ruby. Geoff and Randy are definitely doing things right, and they've been so blessed with such sweet babies! I love this family!

Ashlyn | 7 Days

Ashlyn was going to be my first newborn ever to have her session scheduled before she was born. She was a scheduled C-Section, but her mom and dad didn't end up being discharged from the hospital until the night before our session date, so we bumped her forward a few days to give them time to settle in, and it worked out perfectly. She is such a little sweetie pie and I had a blast photographing her. Check out her session highlights!

I had just finished making this crochet blanket and headband set the night before her session; I'm absolutely loving it!

Ashlyn's big brother Hudson did such a great job!

I love this little "A" that John and Diane brought.
